Texas Sauce for Hamburgers & Hot Dogs

1/2 lb. hamburger
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1 large onion
salt and pepper
1 large can tomato juice
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
4 tsp. chili powder
Brown hamburger, garlic, onion with salt and pepper.  Add spices and tomato juice and bring to a boil.  Thicken with a water and flour mixture like you were making gravy.  Cook on a very low heat for 1 hour and stir often so that it won’t stick.  You can put this in containers and freeze this as well.
